Customer of the Quarter: ABT Foundation Solutions
Providing a Foundation that's Solid
The parable of the “House Built On Sand” is a life lesson on how to fix a bad situation the right way. You could say it is an inspiration to the folks at ABT Foundation Solutions, as well. ABT’s motto is “We Fix Bad Basements...RIGHT!” They know every home or business structure needs a strong foundation, and are prepared to provide the service and support their customers seek.
Located in Neenah, Wisconsin, ABT has been waterproofing and dehumidifying basements and crawlspaces from the Illinois border on up to Lake Superior since 2002. They restore basement walls (full and/or cracks), repair sinking and settling foundations, install sump pumps in basements and crawl spaces, and much more. ABT is able to set right of all these problems, while preserving your home’s structural integrity and value.
Eric Turner, President of ABT is passionate about constant improvement and evolution of foundation repair solutions and business management. Not only does he attend certification classes as a student, but he also serves as an instructor himself. With over 20 years of personal experience, Eric is often asked to lead training sessions across the country, sharing basement repair standards and business fundamentals.
Within the industry, Eric is sought out to provide an expert perspective by home inspectors, Realtors, government municipalities, engineering firms and general contractors. As a member of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors (WAHI), Eric is part of the arbitration board, reviewing any disputes that arise between home inspectors and their clients. In this role, Eric must provide non-biased technical expertise, ensuring that an equitable solution is attained for all parties involved.
From the inception of ABT, Eric charted the course to instill four core values for the company:
- Be the best.
- Provide the best solution.
- Use the best product available.
- Fix Bad Basements…RIGHT!
Eric ensures that these values can be seen throughout the entire organization and all functions are held to high standards of performance. Their crew undergoes weekly training to maintain high quality standards. All staff and installers are trained and certified in foundation repair and basement waterproofing. To ensure quality control, they do not hire subcontractors.
As an exclusive provider of Dry Right™ Water Control Systems, Dry Right™ Sump Systems and the Right Wall™ Foundation Repair System, ABT offers permanent solutions with a transferable warranty and free estimates. What’s more, ABT has a BBB Rating of A+.
Customers are pleased to work with ABT, as customer service is paramount and there is a sincere desire to solve foundational problems in the best way possible. Visit their website at www.callabt.com to learn even more about their services.

Congratulations are in order for J&B Construction Company not only for being named The Starr Group’s Customer of the Quarter, but also for being honored with a 2017 Silver Wisconsin Remodeler of the Year Award in the Residential Landscape Design/Outdoor Living Under $60,000 category. The award was for a home in Franklin where the owners of a ranch home were seeking to have a round deck built off the patio door leading to the backyard for additional living space outside to use for entertaining and relaxing.
The new deck, which offers easy access to the backyard and patio, features splashes of color through the furniture selected, while a trellis with swing provides another visual focal point, with lighting incorporated into the stairs provides an ambiance when the deck is used in the evening. The deck, trellis, and swing frame is constructed from green treated yellow pine framing and Timber Tech decking material.
