Required Reporting for Sections 6055 and 6056
Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), insurance carriers and employers must provide each covered employee with documentation they had Minimal Essential Coverage provided by the employer during 2018. Carriers and employers need to provide this information by March 4, 2019 in time for employees to file their 2018 individual taxes.
