KNOWLEDGE AND CONVENIENCE:Those are the words Adeline Race of Greenfield used to describe her long-time relationship with The Starr Group. Adeline was honored as the 4th quarter winner of a $100 Visa Gift Card for referring a friend to The Starr Group.

Adeline has been a customer of The Starr Group since 1987. In fact, her homeowners policy was written by none other than Tim Starr himself when he was first getting started in the agency founded by his father Robert Starr.

Earlier this month, Adeline stopped in TSG office to accept her prize. She was greeted first by Tim Starr and they chatted about her experience with the agency. “Everyone has been so wonderful,” she smiled, “When I have questions, no matter how many, the agents take time to sit down with me and answer them all.” Adeline mentioned that the office is conveniently located only 15 minutes from her home.

This year, on December 30th, Adeline will celebrate the birthday which will officially make her a “nonagenarian.” She shared some of her secrets to her long and healthy life: walking 2 miles every day, dancing 2 nights a week, and doing 200 “crunches” every morning. “Except on Sundays,” she says of the crunches, “that’s a day of rest.”

Adeline was then introduced to Mary Starr, the Health and Wellness coordinator for The Starr Group. Impressed by her vibrant personality, Mary asked Adeline about her eating habits. “Oh, I eat fish...and lots of veggies...and very little red meat,” she replied, “Except for the occasional prime rib on the weekend!”

Adeline’s visit created quite the stir, and many employees peeked out of their cubicles and offices to see who this spritely “young” woman was! “You all really made my day!” she said with a sparkle in her eye. “What a great birthday present!”
