I grew up in a business at a time when everyone had their job and they did it. We did not talk about the culture of an organization or promote gratuitous causes to participate in. We all...well, just worked. Boy, have things changed and have I been schooled!

When introduced to the idea of creating office culture and wellness, I was a skeptic. 

I now believe there will shortly be colleges that tout a CCO degree (Chief Culture Officer). The number one variable highly successful companies suggest makes them so is “Culture”.

I am pleasantly stunned by the transformation within The Starr Group and our ability to attract new employees. We’ve had 14 new applicants just last week! These candidates are saying things like:

We also communicate deeply twice a year at mandatory “State of the Agency” meetings. The events are very uplifting and share much information. These meetings cover everything from the financial state of the business, to changes in agency operations. Agency goals are openly discussed so that every producer, customer service agent and support staff knows exactly what is expected -- and how successful any previous implementations have been.
